Books That Make You: Heal (Spiritually)

The assertion that spiritual healing is beneficial may seem unbelievable. You may be eager to read the evidence or you may be approaching this subject with acute cynicism. It is healthy to be sceptical but there may be more to be gained by being open minded while exploring the possibilities.

The Bible overflows with passages about spiritual healing and the Muslim Religion says one’s spiritual condition is directly related to physical health. The Baha’i Faith talks about the four kinds of treatment and healing without medicine and that both health and sickness are contagious.

Some of the smartist people of history have talked about what will happen once we take a non-physical approach. Nikola Tesla said: The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence. Hellen Keller states in relation to healing, that we must “catch the mystic notes which issue from the soul of things.”

This weeks guest, Sandy Edwards, is a fellow of the Healing Trust, UK. She set up a voluntary healing clinic, and volunteered in hospitals, before instigating the largest medical research trial of spiritual healing, the results of which she presented at the Houses of Parliament in London.

Join Books That Make You host Desiree Duffy and her guest Sandy Edwards as they discuss her new book; Spiritual Healing in Hospitals and Clinics. Sunday October 24th at 8 or 11 eastern time on
