Now What?
The Stock Market dropped 943 points yesterday on fears that there would be no stimulus plan before the election. Their fears were justified as The Senate has adjourned until November 9th. Even then it is unlikely that there will be any relief until next year, even if Donald Trump is re elected, seeing that most Republican Senators want nothing to do with another stimulus package as 40 of them voted no on the previous bills and McConell did not bring the latest offering from the Democratic led House to the floor.

Florida on the Rise
Florida is seeing another spike in Coronavirus cases. In the Bay area they have seen a significant increase with both Hillsborough and Pinellas county seeing triple digit jump in just the past few days. The pandemic is getting so bad again in Europe, France and Germany have both announced new four-week partial lockdowns to curb the spread. Although American adults are increasing their mask wearing the youth are lax in covering up according to a CDC study. And used masks and gloves are ending up in the oceans, so remember to dispose of your pandemic PPE properly!

Young adults might also be less likely to engage in mitigation behaviors because of “social, developmental, and practical factors.”

Everything you send on Messenger passes through Facebook servers to which it has access. And a new security report claims it also downloads your private content to its own servers without any warning.

Two Heads are Better than One
What has two brains, no legs and the best profile pic on Facebook? That would be a rare, two-headed racer snake recently discovered by a house cat in Palm Harbor, Florida. The cat’s family was rudely introduced to the supernatural serpent when their cat, Olive, dropped the critter on their living room floor, complete with wo heads attached to the same body, each one able to move its eyes, neck and tongue independently. Just in time for Halloween.
