The US hit another record number of hospitalizations yesterday, with more than 88,000 people being treated for Covid-19. Tuesday also saw more than 2,100 US coronavirus deaths — the highest total death toll since May. More places are enacting new restrictions.

The Grammy nominations are out and some people, as usual, are not happy. With their first album in 14 years, the Chicks did not even receive a glance for their album Gaslighter. The biggest snub news is the Weeknd. This week, his hit single “Blinding Lights” became the longest-running song in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 ever. Yet no Grammy nod.
