But the current White House coronavirus task force has warned that current vaccination plans wouldn’t reduce the spread of the disease until at least the late spring. The Supreme Court shut down the latest Trump lawyer attempt to overturn the election, with just one sentence. Really, just one word. “Denied.” Still the Trump denial train rolls on and its taking on passengers. Congressional Republican leaders rejected a resolution that asserted that Joe Biden is president-elect.

Trying to Scare
Concern among legal experts is growing after Florida data scientist Rebekah Jones had her home raided by armed state police on Monday. The State Police did they arrest Jones as they drew their gun when entering the home. Jones was fired in May after accusing Gov. Ron DeSantis’ administration of minimizing the pandemic and skewing state data. Jones says she has evidence that state officials lied about early numbers and reporting.

WUSF reported that St. Petersburg officials announced an educational strategy Monday to make the city Florida’s most COVID-safe community. Mayor Rick Kriseman said at a news conference it will be a long time before most people have access to a coronavirus vaccine, so he asked residents to recommit to healthy choices, like wearing masks and social distancing during the holidays.
