Claremont Unfurls the Red Carpet for Summer Movie Nights!

Calling all movie buffs and families in Claremont! Get ready for a summer of laughter, thrills, and popcorn under the stars! The City of Claremont is hosting its annual Movies in the Park series, offering free screenings every Thursday night from July 11th through August 6th, 2024.

Mark your calendars to enjoy a cinematic experience for the whole community. Preshow activities starting at 7:30 pm will kick off the evening’s fun, keeping the little ones entertained before the movie begins.

The City assures that the series features a selection of family-friendly movies, ensuring a night of entertainment suitable for all ages.

FROZEN SIGN-A-LONG begins at Dusk. The annual National Night Out hosted by the Claremont Police Department (CPD). This exciting event promises to be a night of community building, fun activities for all ages, and a chance to connect with local law enforcement.

Special Needs Meet and Greet:

The evening kicks off with a special Public Safety Meet and Greet specifically designed for individuals with special needs and their families. This dedicated time, from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm, allows for a more relaxed and comfortable environment for interaction with CPD officers.

Family Fun for All Ages:

From 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, the festivities open to the entire community. Get ready to explore a variety of CPD vehicles, booths with informative displays, and exciting games for the kids. There will even be prizes to keep the little ones entertained!

Sing Along Under the Stars:

As dusk settles, the night culminates in a FROZEN Sign-A-Long, adding a touch of musical magic to the event. Get ready to belt out your favorite songs from the beloved Disney film alongside neighbors and friends.

Giving Back:

The Claremont Police Department is also committed to giving back to the community. Throughout the event, they will be accepting donations of children’s toys, school supplies, and non-perishable snacks for the Children’s Advocacy Center. Your contribution can make a big difference in the lives of local children.
